Hello. It’s me, Ariel. I’m dropping by to say, ‘Hey.’ So, HEY!! This year has been one hell of a up & down roller coaster. I’m sure we’ve all had our ups and downs. And maybe you read a book that you just didn’t like. I know I did. But cool points for getting through it & every adversity you faced this year. In a few days, I will be posting my top 10 reads of 2016. It will be a multi-genre list. A few Contemporary Romances, if you know me, then you know that particular genre isn’t my favorite, however, a few books made it on the list. Along with Paranormal Romance, and Sci-Fi/Dystopian reads. Those are my absolute favorite to read. I say it’s because I get more realness out of the fiction than I do others. I think it all boils down to the characters, and how well developed they become from start to finish. I’ve come across amazing Authors who have badass imaginations and I feel like they are going to really hit it big one day. I think that’s what I love most about the Indie scene. So many unknowns with their stories that you, the reader, KNOW it’s just as good, or usually in my case, is better than some of these Mainstream Authors. But hey, that’s just Ariel going on a ramble. *Giggles* I am actually going to be getting some reading done within these last few days of December. I’ve got seven books to finish in eight days. This just might turn out to be a personal record. Oh, and I also made some progress with my book, I hope to publish sometime in early 2017. I started it last year, lol. However, I believe it’s turning out nicely done. Every time I re-read some parts of it, I think to myself, “Did I really write that?” It can be kind of surreal. I’m excited!! Christmas is just around the corner, like, literally. My tree is in and decorated and we’re all set for the Fat Man in Red to come and deliver our presents. I hope the hubby *ahem* gets me a book. Or money to buy books. It’s really all I want for Christmas. Oh, and for everyone to have a very Merry Christmas!! I’ll leave you with a picture of my daughter, Elyianna. I asked her to say cheese, but I got this result instead, lol. Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!!
